Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into Arts, Engineering, Medicine, Pharmacy, Science and Social Sciences options of the Pre-Degree Studies and JUPEB Programmes of the Centre for Continuing Education, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye.

The Programmes.

The Pre-Degree Programme (I) is two-semester each of 15 weeks duration, designed to prepare candidates for   admission into degree programmes in all discipline of the University.

The JUPEB Programme (II) is a year intensive coaching designed to prepare candidates for Joint University Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) examinations.  Candidates have the advantage of applying into direct entry of all discipline of the University or any University of their choice.

Admission Requirements.

  • Applicants for admission into the Pre-Degree Programme are expected to have a minimum of five O’Level credits at one or two sittings, including English Language; credit in Mathematics and three other Science subjects for all Sciences based courses; Credit in Mathematics and three other Social Sciences subjects for all Social Science based courses and credits in four arts subjects for all Arts based courses. Applicants without complete O’Level credit are encouraged to take advantage of the programme to re-sit their O’level examinations in order to gain admission into the University.
  • Applicants for admission into Joint University Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) are expected to have completed O’Level results and must sit for JUPEB examinations.
  • All candidates are expected to pay their external examinations as at when due, as the tuition fees are exclusive of external examination fees.
  • There will be screening exercise that will be communicated to intending candidate(s).

Prospects for Admission into Degree Programmes

Admission intro the degree programmes of the University is based strictly on entry requirements and in proportion to the admission quota for various Colleges/Faculties in the University.

Candidates for admission into year one (I) and direct entry of the relevant degree programmes of the University must satisfactorily pass their Pre-Degree studies, JUPEB, relevant examinations and satisfy the minimum matriculation requirements for pursuing degree programmes in Nigerian Universities.
